Deadly ’Zombie Drug’ Flakka Claims First Victim in Morocco

"Flakka", the "zombie drug" or "drug that drives you crazy", mainly produced in China, now seems to be present in [Morocco]. A first victim has already been recorded.
A new dangerous drug on Moroccan territory. In a specialized toxicology journal, the Poison Control and Pharmacovigilance Center reports that a 23-year-old man was recently admitted to a hospital after consuming "Flakka", the "zombie drug" or "drug that drives you crazy", reports Al Ahdath al Maghribia. He was in a hysterical state and would suffer from cardiac arrhythmia, diarrhea and fever. These are among the symptoms of the effects of this drug.
Produced mainly in China, "Flakka" contains cathinone, a product three times more potent than cocaine. It is sold in the form of a white crystal powder on the internet where it is often presented under the names of legal products, such as aromatic plants, bath products or even fertilizers. Four years ago, the "zombie drug" first appeared in the autonomous city of [Ceuta].
