Deadly Highway Crash in Morocco Claims 3 Lives, Highlights Road Safety Concerns

Contrary to official data, the number of victims of road accidents does not seem to be declining. Proof of this, in one week, no less than twenty people died on Moroccan roads.
Last Thursday, a family again fell victim to this cataclysm that strikes the national roads. This happened at PK 116, on the highway connecting the cities of Meknes to Khemisset.
The driver, a family man who was accompanied by his parents, his wife and his 3 children, lost control of the car at the sight of a flock of sheep crossing his path. As a result, he veered dramatically towards the side of the road.
The driver and his parents were killed on the spot, while his wife and 3 children were seriously injured and rushed to the Mohamed V hospital in Meknes.
