Deadly Collision in Morocco: 4 Killed, Multiple Injured on Benslimane Road

The Moroccan road has killed again. Yesterday, a road accident in Benslimane left four dead and several injured, some of whom are still in serious condition.
A source within the Royal Gendarmerie, quoted by the MAP, indicates that the tragedy occurred on Provincial Road number 404, connecting the town of Benslimane to the Commune of Sidi Bettach. Initially, there would have been a collision between a car and a large vehicle.
According to the same source, "the collision between a light utility vehicle, which was carrying six people, and a large vehicle also left three seriously injured, including the driver".
All these injured were transported to the "Avicenne" hospital in Rabat while an investigation was opened by the gendarmerie services to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy.
According to the figures released this week by the Directorate General of National Security (DGSN), 29 people were killed and 1,982 others were injured, including 80 seriously, in 1,472 traffic accidents that occurred in urban areas during the week of June 10 to 16, 2019.
