Cycling Star Remco Evenepoel Weds Childhood Friend and Belgian Influencer Oumi Rayane

The 22-year-old woman has followed Evenepoel’s, also 22 years old, sports career from the beginning and has always supported him. The two have been a couple since 2017, but their relationship has not always been harmonious, reveals Offside, revealing that Remco and Oumi had to separate in August 2019, the athlete having decided to move to Monaco to pursue his career and Oumi having to stay in Belgium to continue her studies in economics.

"It was weeks when I felt sad. It was very difficult because we couldn’t see each other, just send messages and make phone calls," Oumi had said in an interview with Het Laatste Nieuws. But Remco eventually changed his mind and canceled his move, which allowed the couple to reunite and strengthen their now rock-solid relationship. Remco and Oumi got married last fall.

Oumi is a rather discreet woman in public and her interventions are very rare. She has three brothers and a sister and is pursuing her university studies in economics and science. She is very active on Instagram, where she regularly posts photos. She is also an ambassador for a concept store specializing in S-bikes.
