Cybersecurity: A German giant wants to settle in Morocco

The German company Hornetsecurity, a world leader in cybersecurity, plans to set up in Morocco, more precisely in Casablanca. It aims to help Moroccan companies protect themselves against cyberattacks.
Hornetsecurity plans to open a subsidiary in Morocco to offer its digital security services (backup, access authorization management, data compliance, email security, etc.) to companies. The Moroccan subsidiary of the German cybersecurity giant will serve as a bridge to the rest of Africa. It will be led by Yasmina Benchekroun, an expert who had accompanied the multinational to settle in the United States, according to Challenge.
This project of establishment in Morocco is led by Daniel Hoffman and Daniel Blank, in charge of the internationalization of Hornetsecurity. With Morocco in Africa, the group is now present in 31 countries in Asia, America, Europe and Australia. Before this operation, Hornetsecurity had accompanied British investors to settle in Morocco, then to lead their subsidiary specialized in the digital transformation of companies.
By choosing to set up in Morocco, Hornetsecurity aims to help Moroccan companies protect themselves against cyberattacks, a phenomenon that has become recurrent in the kingdom. The multinational has just acquired the French group Vade, whose product against cyberattacks by emails, including malware spear phishing and phishing, has proven itself worldwide.
