Cristiano Ronaldo Expands Hotel Empire to Marrakech with Two New Luxury Resorts

Cristiano Ronaldo does not intend to thrive only in football. The Portuguese international also thinks about securing his retirement, by investing, in particular, in business, including real estate. To this end, the opening of two of his hotels in Morocco, more precisely in Marrakech, is planned for 2020.

This is a project that the Juventus player is refining with the Portuguese hotel group, Pestana. While the total amount of the investment for the two hotel units in Marrakech has not been revealed, "Pestana CR7" and "Pestana Marrakech Medina" will have 164 and 224 rooms respectively.

The first, in particular, will be built in the "M Avenue", a new "garden avenue", located in the heart of Marrakech. It will have 174 rooms and 2 restaurants, a business center and a spa. Here, the overnight stay will cost around 200 euros. Casablanca already has a Prestana hotel and another is planned in Agadir.

In addition, the Pestana Group, which is known as the largest hotel chain in Portugal, also intends to invest in the opening of a hotel in Paris. "It is quite sensible that the ’Pestana CR7’ brand is established in Paris, one of the most visited cities in the world," its managers said a few months ago, citing an investment of 60 million euros, half of which will be ceded by the five-time Ballon d’Or, Cristiano Ronaldo.

In the Hexagon, it will be a four-star hotel with 210 rooms, the largest in the "CR7" network, which will be located on the "Left Bank" in Paris, between the Austerlitz and Lyon stations.
