Crédit Agricole to divest its call center in Casablanca

The transaction was officially notified to the Moroccan Competition Council. According to the statement published by the institution, Majorel Africa will take exclusive control of Unifitel after acquiring all of its shares.

Unifitel is a Moroccan company belonging to the Crédit Agricole group. Based at Espace Masurel in Casablanca, it provides companies with customer relationship management, after-sales service, consulting and debt collection services in the financial sector.

The company has share capital of one million dirhams. The statement specifies neither the price agreed for its acquisition nor the possible consequences of the transaction for its employees.

Teleperformance strengthens its presence in Casablanca

The acquisition will be carried out by Majorel Africa, a Moroccan holding company with share capital of 230.3 million dirhams, headquartered in Casablanca Finance City. This company belongs to the French group Teleperformance, which specializes in outsourcing services for businesses.

By taking over Unifitel, Teleperformance will thus add to its Moroccan activities an operator specializing in banking, consumer credit, insurance and debt collection.

The project remains subject to review by the Competition Council. Interested companies or third parties have until 14 September 2026 to submit their observations to the institution.

This sale comes amid a reorganization of the presence of French banking groups in Morocco. Crédit Agricole had already sold its stake in Crédit du Maroc to Holmarcom, while BNP Paribas recently sold its BMCI subsidiary to the same Moroccan group.
