COVID-19 Patients Accused of Stealing Hospital Equipment in Morocco

Some equipment from the field hospital in Benslimane has suddenly disappeared in recent weeks. A doctor points the finger at Covid-19 recovered patients.
Professor of anesthesiology and resuscitation at the Hassan II University Hospital in Fez, Nawfal Houari, is amazed. "Shower heads, faucets, sheets and bedspreads have mysteriously started to disappear from the field hospital in Benslimane," he tweeted.
Is it a blatant lack of civic-mindedness or just unconscious gestures? The public sector doctor is puzzled by these reprehensible acts, knowing that "the systematic search of the luggage of some cured patients leaving the hospital has made it possible to solve the mystery," he stressed.
Built in 6 days by the Royal Armed Forces, the Benslimane field hospital, with a capacity of 160 beds, is the first establishment of its kind to be set up to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic.
