Controversial Salafist Preacher Exposed for Illegal Fifth Marriage in Morocco

Salafist preacher Mohamed Fizazi is currently at the center of a controversy for having contracted a fifth marriage. The famous preacher did not hesitate to circumvent the law to celebrate another union.
Cheikh Mohamed Fizazi’s trick was to offer his fifth wife a "contract". Thinking to seal this marriage in complete secrecy, and in violation of the family code, he was discovered.
The contract was published on social networks without his knowledge. It is written in black and white that he has committed himself to a woman in Morocco. Mohamed Fizazi first denied the authenticity of the document before changing his mind since his signature, those of the alleged wife, Sanae, and two witnesses, have incriminated him. This document was legalized in an administrative annex of the city of Ksar El Kebir.
A Facebook post also indicates that "the document proves that Fizazi caused the pregnancy of a minor girl in Ksar El Kebir and that he was forced to sign this commitment". If he had to take this action, it is because in the meantime, justice had given an unfavorable response to the complaint he had filed against his first three wives. Indeed, they had not authorized him to take a fourth wife, as provided for by law. However, by using subterfuges (contract), the Moroccan Salafist was able to take a fourth wife, and now a fifth.
A divisive figure, Cheikh Mohamed Fizazi had been imprisoned for several years before being pardoned by King Mohammed VI.
