US Citizens and Moroccan-Americans Allowed to Leave Morocco on Special Flights

The Moroccan government has just authorized the repatriation of about a hundred American nationals stranded in Morocco as well as Moroccans residing in the United States. Several flights have been chartered, from Mohamed V airport in Casablanca, to Washington and other American cities.
The information was surprising, especially since Morocco has just declined the request from the Belgian and Dutch authorities to repatriate dual nationals.
The site Akhbarona wonders about the reasons behind the dual position of the Moroccan authorities, and the silence that accompanies it, knowing that Moroccan nationals naturalized in Europe have been numerous in wanting to join their families.
Meanwhile, adds the site, US passport holders were allowed to leave Morocco on Saturday, April 11, on flights to the United States, via the British capital, London.
