Chelsea Targets Ajax Star Hakim Ziyech with €65 Million Bid

To enlist Hakim Ziyech, one of the African football gems, the famous English club Chelsea is not backing down. The club is said to have offered Ajax Amsterdam, where the Atlas Lion currently plays, the sum of 65 million euros.
Despite this huge sum that this English club with an attractive track record is about to put on the table, it is not certain that this transfer will be concluded this winter. Indeed, "the club will get nothing anyway," says the site Voetbal4u.com, which notes that "the Amsterdam team will not sell any key players in the middle of the season." Nevertheless, a transfer is possible during the summer, because, reports the site, "Ziyech still wants to take a step in his career."
Yet six months ago, Ziyech could have been recovered for just over 30 million euros, "in accordance with an agreement with Overmars," the media recalls. And it concludes that unfortunately, for not having known how to take advantage of it at the time, Chelsea finds itself obliged to spend more than double today.
At the time, only FC Seville had made "an interesting offer". However, the Moroccan striker "did not want to go to Andalusia because of the presence of the technical director Monchi, who rather bothered him for his passage to AS Roma".
