Chelsea’s New Star Hakim Ziyech Arrives in London for Premier League Debut
Hakim Ziyech is opening a new chapter in his professional career. This week, the Moroccan international will be officially presented by Chelsea, the club he is called to play for now.
At the end of his estimated 44 million contract, Hakim Ziyech bid farewell to Ajax Amsterdam. He was spotted on a private jet accompanied by his entourage. The player’s contract with the London club officially started on July 1, 2020, but he will have to wait until the end of the current season to prove himself on the pitch, alongside his new teammates. "Ziyech will join us soon, but we have to wait for the news of the quarantine before we can be clearer about this," said his new coach.
The 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder is a player with multiple assets, highly sought after and eager to show what he is capable of to English supporters. "He was involved in 21 goals in 30 matches with Ajax, including a very nice goal against Chelsea."
