Chelsea and PSG Battle for Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi in Transfer Saga

The crazy race to recruit Achraf Hakimi is tough at the start of the summer transfer window. While PSG thinks about the final adjustments to validate the arrival in Paris of the Moroccan international, Chelsea, having two cards in hand, is not letting go of the matter.
In pole position in the Achraf Hakimi case, PSG must spend, according to the demands of Inter, 80 million euros and the player seems interested in the Parisian destination and has agreed on the outlines of the contract.
But in the path of the Parisian club stands the ambition of Chelsea to afford the 22-year-old defender of Inter Milan, 34 caps and 3 goals. To succeed in its project, the Londoners have proposed, from the first exchanges, to include several players in this transfer operation, reports Sky Sport Italia, who thinks that the idea could seduce the Nerazzurri, in financial difficulties and eager to replenish their coffers.
In Inter’s calculations, Emerson Palmieri, 26, is one of the players offered by the English club, the same source informs. This Italian international left-back has 16 caps to his credit and plays very little at Chelsea.
The other piece offered in the deal is the Danish international central defender. At 25, Andreas Christensen has 41 caps, 1 goal. Having made a strong impression during this season, his contract expires in June 2022 at Chelsea.
