Cash Shortage Frustrates Tourists and Locals in Moroccan Beach Town

Many citizens and tourists on vacation in the city of Martil and its surroundings have expressed their anger at the lack of cash in the automatic teller machines of bank branches.
Due to the influx of tourists in the city of Martil during the summer season, the banks should have taken the necessary measures to supply the automatic tellers accordingly, say citizens and Moroccans living abroad who have expressed their anger after finding themselves unable to withdraw money from these tellers.
They denounce the negligence of the banks, whom they blame for not having replenished the automatic tellers before August 20 and 21, public holidays in Morocco due to the celebration of the Revolution of the King and the People and the Youth Day.
This situation forces many people and tourists to travel to neighboring cities in order to withdraw money to meet their needs and fully enjoy their vacation in Martil.
