Casablanca Unveils 700 New Accessible Buses to Modernize Public Transport

The large Moroccan metropolis, Casablanca, now has new buses. The company "Irizar" has unveiled the images of the buses long awaited by the people of Casablanca.
The 700 new buses manufactured by the company "Irizar" were unveiled this week.
The originality of these new buses, in black and yellow, and with a capacity of 33 seats, is that they are equipped with an access ramp, 12 meters long, dedicated to people with reduced mobility.
These new buses were presented at the "Irizar" factory in Skhirat, in the presence of a commission composed of four personalities.
The bus transport market in Casablanca was, it should be recalled, won on October 2 by the Spanish company "Alsa", after the discontent of the inhabitants and the setbacks with the former manager, M’dina Bus.
Faced with the dilapidation of the vehicle fleet and the multiple delays in the service, the authorities decided to put an end to it.
