Casablanca Sets Eid al-Adha Slaughter Prices, Emphasizes Food Safety Standards

The city of Casablanca, through the Local Development Company (SDL) Casablanca Prestations, has just announced the price of slaughter in public slaughterhouses.
The slaughter, which will be carried out in compliance with the strictest hygiene standards, will be carried out at the Casablanca Slaughterhouses. The latter, accredited by the National Office of Sanitary Safety of Food Products (Onssa), are the only ones nationwide to have a double certification, a guarantee of quality in terms of compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
To facilitate the implementation of this operation, the city also offers a service for housing animals 48 hours before Aid Al Adha. Scheduled for Tuesday, June 27 and Wednesday, June 28, this service makes it possible to guarantee the well-being of the animals in adapted and secure stables. Animal accommodation is provided at 24 dirhams per night and slaughter is set at 240 dirhams.
