Casablanca Reports Four New COVID-19 Outbreaks as Morocco Surpasses 7,000 Cases

In total, four coronavirus outbreaks were discovered in the city of Casablanca on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
Morocco recorded 71 new cases of covid-19 contamination on Tuesday, crossing the 7,000 mark. The report shows 7,023 cases since the beginning of the epidemic. The monitoring of contact persons with cases previously tested positive for the coronavirus for an average of 84% has identified 59 cases.
According to the Ministry of Health, the majority of the 71 cases discovered are among the 4 distinct coronavirus outbreaks in the city of Casablanca. The other cases were recorded in the Marrakech-Safi, Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima, Fès-Meknès and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra regions. No cases were recorded in the other regions.
