Casablanca Police Inspector Arrested in Visa Fraud Scheme

Two individuals, including a police inspector, were arrested on Thursday by elements of the National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ). They would be involved in a case of forgery and use of official documents.
In addition to the inspector, the second suspect is a 22-year-old woman who is accused of "having submitted a file containing a forged marriage certificate, in order to obtain a visa for a foreign country."
She claimed on the basis of this false document to be married to the suspect police officer, indicates the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) in a press release quoted by the MAP.
The two accused have been placed in custody for the ongoing preliminary investigation, which will make it possible to elucidate the ins and outs of this case. It will also be a question of determining the degree of involvement of each suspect, as well as any possible accomplices to be arrested, specifies the same source.
