Casablanca Pedophile Trial Postponed as Accused Left Without Legal Representation

The trial of the pedophile, accused of sexually abusing about twenty minors, was postponed by the Court of Appeal of Casablanca to February 11.
The judges demanded the presence of a lawyer for the defense of the accused, after all his lawyers decided to abandon him. The Court also requested the presence of the victims to provide their testimony.
The hearing was marked by the large influx of the victims’ families, who responded to the court’s summons, after missing the previous hearings.
The case of the pedophile from Lissasfa dates back to last October, when the families of the numerous victims had filed a complaint with the police, who had managed to put an end to the suspect’s flight, thanks to the trap set, with the complicity of a high school student.
