Casablanca to Install 60 Public Toilets Across City in $1.1 Million Project

The authorities in Casablanca have decided to install 60 public toilets in several neighborhoods of the city to improve the living environment and hygiene in the city.
The cost of the work is estimated at nearly 11.5 million dirhams. They should be completed within six months. The realization of this project has been entrusted to a private company following a call for tenders launched by the Casablanca city hall.
The toilets will be installed according to international standards and in the following locations: the United Nations Square, the May 16 Square, the promenade of the Hassan II Mosque, the Ain Diab corniche, the Vélodrome Park, the Isesco Park and Bab Marrakech.
The installation of these public toilets in several districts of the economic capital of the kingdom aims to improve the living environment and hygiene. The Casablancans, who have constantly called on the city authorities to set up these toilets, will finally be able to breathe a sigh of relief.
