Casablanca: The father of the missing British girl launches an appeal for help

The tragedy occurred on January 28, during the first evening of their vacation. Inaayah Makda was with her parents on the rocks of Lalla Meryem beach when an unpredictable wave surprised them from behind. While the father managed to reach the shore safely, his only daughter was swept away by the current.

After several weeks of efforts hampered by bad weather conditions, the Moroccan authorities definitively suspended the investigations at the end of February, finding no trace of the child. Faced with this deadlock, Zubair Makda explained to the Mirror that his family was continuing its own search.

On social media, he is now appealing for assistance from specialists to guide him. "If anyone has contacts who know how the sea works in this area and who have expertise in modeling marine drift, that would be of great benefit to us in identifying search areas," he pleaded.
