Casablanca Authorities Deny Permit for French Rapper Ninho’s Concert

The concert of French rapper "Ninho", scheduled for June 24 at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca, will not be able to take place due to a rejection of the request for authorization by the city authorities.
The request to organize Ninho’s concert was not accepted, informs the Pacha, head of the Maârif urban district, in a letter addressed to the director of the complex and to which Hespress had access. All members of the security committee disagreed on the organization of this concert on the occasion of the meeting held on May 25 at the headquarters of the prefecture of the provinces of Casablanca-Anfa, the same source specifies.
Consequently, the Pacha, Mohammed Dawabi, asked the director of the complex to bring this information to the attention of the organizers of the French rapper’s concert. Ninho, whose albums are the best-selling in France, had organized a show in Casablanca last year, to the delight of his Moroccan fans. A concert that had been a great success.
