Casablanca angry with Alsa

The wilaya of the Casablanca-Settat region announced that it has exchanged with the managers of the Alsa company, which has recently integrated the Polisario flag into the on-board wifi system of its buses.
The local authorities sought to understand the reasons that led the Alsa company to make such a decision. The mayor of Casablanca held an emergency meeting on Monday with representatives of Casa Transports and the Alsa company to get more details on this matter, which is causing a strong controversy, according to a statement from the wilaya released on Wednesday.
The incident is due to "a technical flaw," the Alsa representatives assured, explaining that "this platform is managed by a third-party company" and that instructions have been given for a quick correction of "this error as soon as it was brought to its attention." To prevent such errors from recurring, the Casablanca wilaya and the authority in charge of urban transport have requested the termination of the contract of the Alsa subcontractor responsible for this wifi platform.
While apologizing for this "unintentional error," the Alsa representatives undertook to terminate the contract with the company concerned and to respect the territorial integrity of the kingdom as well as its principles and values. The meeting also allowed "to examine the means to monitor the company’s activities and to communicate and inform the authorities on anything that could affect national interests and the urban bus transport service."
To recall, the Polisario flag was inserted in the list of available flags on the Alsa platform, under the mention Western Sahara. Passengers must press the flag of their choice to access the free wifi network. A paid option for high-speed internet is also available.
