Canadian Airline Expands Morocco Routes with Air Arabia Partnership

Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd., a Canadian leisure-focused airline, has signed a Wetlease/ACMI (Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance) contract with Air Arabia Morocco, which should allow it to strengthen its presence in Morocco.
Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd. will thus deploy two A320 aircraft to operate flights between destinations in Western Europe and Morocco as part of this lease contract, which runs for three months, from mid-June to mid-September 2024. These aircraft will be redeployed on major North American markets for the fall/winter leisure season. "Our partnership with Air Arabia Morocco represents an important step in our strategy to provide ACMI services to valuable partners," said Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines, in a press release.
This contract is of crucial importance for the Canadian airline. "This agreement not only allows us to maximize the utilization of our fleet during the European summer high season, [...] it also strengthens our position as a leading provider of customized air transportation solutions," he added. And to note: "This collaboration is perfectly aligned with Canada Jetlines’ sustainable growth plan."
