Yassine Bouziane, 40 years old, took up his new duties on Monday. His first day in his new office at the Prefecture of Calvados in Caen was marked by meetings with the agents of the various state services. He also tackled his new files, mainly of a security nature concerning the population, the roads or the police and gendarmerie forces. But he has files to be processed quickly. One of them is the supervision of the social mobilizations announced for this 2025 return. A blockage of the country is announced for September 10. "It is still too early to know what is planned. At this stage, I do not know the state of the mobilization," he says. He intends to look seriously into the matter.
Yassine Bouziane chose to serve in Calvados. "I have had a strong attachment to this department for a very long time, because these are the beaches of my childhood, especially that of Houlgate," he confides. Before his appointment, he contributed to the proper functioning of the budget of the Ministry of the Interior. "I am delighted to be here, because there is a very wide variety of subjects to follow," he adds.
Yassine was born in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. He holds a master’s degree in physical chemistry. He embraced the administration by becoming a tax controller, according to Actu.fr.
