Budget Traveler's Dream: £30 Flight Unlocks Moroccan Luxury for British YouTuber

A British YouTuber is amazed by what he discovered in Morocco after taking a very cheap flight from Manchester to Marrakech.

Just Deano is struck by his trip to Morocco. From Halifax, he took the train to Manchester airport, before getting a one-way ticket for £30 to Marrakech with Ryanair. An "exceptional offer", according to the British YouTuber. He documents his trip and shares a video with his 31,200 subscribers. After an hour’s wait, Deano boards his flight, reports Belfast Live. After a 3 hour and 40 minute flight across continents, he arrives at Marrakech airport, and does not hide his first impressions.

Deano is amazed by the magnificent airport and the rigorous immigration procedures: "Well, we’re here at Marrakech airport, and let me tell you, it’s quite nice, isn’t it? It’s so hot, it’s announced 30 degrees, but I’m telling you now, it’s like an oven in here." He adds: "The airport is very chic, and they’re very meticulous at the entrance, like at immigration. They don’t just scan your passport, they ask you questions. They want to know where you’re staying."

The British YouTuber does not join the late-night bus queue like most passengers. He takes a taxi, which cost him £15. He arrives at his riad, a palace with an inner courtyard and a garden. But his surprises are not over. His stay is quite affordable. "Let me tell you," he says after settling into his room. "I spent £134 for five nights, that’s £27 a night, breakfast included. [...] I don’t think that’s too bad, to be honest. It’s not the Ritz I know, but the location, there’s a little alley, the location is literally on the main shopping street and there’s a shop right next door."

Deano expresses his happiness: "What a day! All positive, nothing negative to say. I’m in Africa, let’s go." His video elicits comments. "That’s a good deal, from London to Brighton it costs £30 and up to Manchester it costs an arm and a leg," comments one internet user.
