Brussels Students Develop Career Guidance App, Advance to International Science Finals

Two young Brussels women of Moroccan origin have developed an application to help students make their career choices. Their innovation has been selected for the final of an international competition.

They are Hajar and Kawthar Saidi, both 19 years old and students at ICHEC. Thanks to the FindYourPro application, the fruit of their imagination, these two Moroccan gems aim to help students make their study and career choices, reports Belga.

"We know that it can be complicated and stressful for young students to have to decide on the professional path to follow or the studies to pursue. With the FindYourPro application, we want to help these students find what suits them best. We put them in direct contact with professionals so they can ask their questions, share their doubts and thus get a more precise idea of the direction they want to take in the future," they detailed.

Thanks to this application, the two young women in the making have been selected to participate in the final of the international competition for student innovators, called Red Bull Basement. It will take place on December 15.

If they win this prize, Hajar and Kawthar Saidi will benefit from access to international mentoring programs and a global network of innovators, the same source points out.
