British-Syrian Man Kills Moroccan Partner in Istanbul Valentine’s Day Stabbing

A British man of Syrian origin, Jorane Mohammed Atta, residing in Istanbul, stabbed his partner, Samira El Khadir, a 38-year-old Moroccan woman, to death on Sunday, February 14. The discovery of the woman’s infidelity was the motive for this crime.
Jorane Mohammed Atta, a 50-year-old British man of Syrian origin, inflicted seven knife wounds on Samira El Khadir, a 38-year-old Moroccan woman with whom he lived in Istanbul, on Valentine’s Day, according to the local press. He also filmed the scene in detail and sent the video to all the friends they had in common.
After committing this crime, the man turned himself in to the police. He justified this crime by the discovery of his partner’s infidelity. He came to this conclusion after checking Samira El Khadir’s phone messages. He had come across intimate conversations that Samira had had with other men.
