Brazil’s Rising Star Escapes Madrid Woes in Moroccan Desert Getaway
Sidelined, a Brazilian international from Real Madrid prefers to spend good times in Morocco, with his partner, during the international break, rather than dying of despair.
Endrick, 19, a Brazilian prodigy worth 35 million euros, has gone on vacation with his 24-year-old wife. He seeks comfort in the Moroccan desert, in order to forget the bad patch he is going through at Bernabeu. In a photo, we see him posing alongside his new wife Gabriely Miranda, both sitting on cushions inside a tent, with candles on a nearby table. A romantic moment for the young couple. This trip to Morocco is also an opportunity for Endrick and his partner to celebrate the first anniversary of their marriage.
Recruited in December 2022 for six seasons, Endrick has struggled to establish himself at Bernabeu under Carlo Ancelotti. The arrival of Xabi Alonso has changed nothing. The Brazilian prodigy struggles to convince the new coach. As a result, he is not in his plans. The Brazilian striker has not made a single appearance in the last five months. His last match was on May 18. He had injured his hamstrings during the 2-0 win against Seville. This injury kept him off the pitch. He even missed the Club World Cup.
Since September, he has been fit, but the coach does not line him up. "There is a lot of competition now, in his position and in the surrounding areas," Alonso said before the international break. He adds: "His time will come." According to Madrid legend Guti, it’s time for the Brazilian to find a new club. "If he doesn’t have opportunities by December, I think his best option is to leave to continue to grow. [...] For a young player, the best thing is to have playing time," Guti estimates. And to wonder: "What could be decisive? You never know. There are always injuries and moments when the coach bets on you, but that doesn’t seem to be his priority for the moment."
Endrick is thinking of leaving the Spanish club during the January transfer window. He has scored seven goals in 847 minutes of play with Madrid, or an average of 0.74 goals every 90 minutes. According to Daily Mail, he would be tipped to join Juventus, the Italian giant.
