Biden Offers Condolences and Aid to Morocco’s King Following Devastating Earthquake

King Mohammed VI received a call yesterday from US President Joe Biden. During this conversation, the American leader expressed his "personal condolences, as well as those of the American people and government" to the king and Moroccans, following the devastating earthquake that hit several regions of the country.
President Biden also praised the "speed and efficiency" of the Moroccan management of the consequences of the tragedy, "in accordance with the Royal High Instructions."
The American President made it known that his country was ready to "provide the necessary aid and support" to Morocco. This assistance would be part of the "multifaceted action plan" that the Moroccan authorities have deployed to deal with the repercussions of the earthquake.
