Vladimir Cheremet, Jeton Begesi and Dmitriy Teretchenko. These are the three new names added to the Belgium’s Most Wanted list, which lists the country’s most wanted criminals. They are all involved, or suspected, in serious acts of violence. Most have already been sentenced to prison terms. The Federal Police’s Fugitive Active Search Team (FAST) is counting on the public’s help to locate these individuals as soon as possible. The list is available on the federal police website. It is accompanied by photos and detailed descriptions.
If Belgium has been able to find several fugitives on the list of the most wanted criminals like Marc De Block in 2016, Mustapha Lahnachi (of Moroccan origin) in 2017, Hilde Van Acker and Jean-Claude Lacote in 2019, Nicolas Theodorou in 2022, Mohammed Aissa in 2024, or Andy De Wolf last month, others like Wim Beckmann, Fehriye Erdal, the Moroccan Hicham Chaib, Rouf Uddin or Suleyman Betelguriev remain untraceable.
