Belgian Police Hunt for Dangerous Fugitive Convicted of Armed Robberies

The Belgian federal police are searching for Ismaïl Ouchen, a potentially dangerous young man who was recently convicted on several sentences.
At 25 years old, Ismaïl Ouchen is already involved in several offenses. Last August, this potentially dangerous criminal was sentenced by the Brussels Court of Appeal to 5 years in prison for armed robberies committed at various dealerships across the country, reports 7sur7.be.
The same source states that he was also sentenced in December to an additional year by the same court for his participation in the theft of four all-terrain vehicles in Tirlemont in February 2017, and a high-speed chase with the police on the Brussels ring road. These various acts attributed to him were committed while he was on parole, after serving a 3-year sentence for an initial 5-year conviction, the same media notes.
In this regard, the young man is actively being sought by the federal police. "Persons who have seen Ismaïl Ouchen or who have information on his whereabouts can contact the investigators on the toll-free number 08 00 or 30 300. Discretion is assured," a statement from the federal police said.
