Belgian Footballer Sofian Kiyine to Face Retrial for 2023 Crash

The Belgian-Moroccan Sofian Kiyine, former football player of Oud-Heverlee Louvain (OHL), who caused a spectacular accident in Flemalle on March 30, 2023, will be retried before the Liège Correctional Court.
Sofian Kiyine is set on his court appearance date. According to his lawyer Steve Van Laenen, he will appear on January 13, 2025 before the Liège Correctional Court for his accident that occurred on March 30, 2023 in Flémalle (in the province of Liège), the appeal procedures of a police court being examined by the correctional court, reports L’Avenir. "My client will not be present since it will be an introductory hearing," explains the lawyer.
