Bayern Munich’s New Signing Mazraoui Aims for Champions League Glory
Moroccan international Noussair Mazraoui, transferred to Bayern Munich, spoke about his choice and the new challenges he has set for himself with his new club.
In an interview with the official Bayern Munich channel, the right-back explained his choice and detailed his motivations. While he was expected at FC Barcelona or other major European clubs, Mazroui ultimately signed with the Bavarian club for the next four seasons.
"I chose to join Bayern because I see that I can win the biggest titles here," he said, adding that "Bayern have just become German champions for the tenth consecutive time. And it will certainly be among the serious contenders to win the Champions League title next year."
The Moroccan defender also expressed his joy at playing for one of the biggest clubs on the European continent: "I had a good feeling from my first exchanges with the club officials. And I’m happy to sign with a giant club like Bayern," he stressed.
