Bayern Munich Eyes PSG Star Achraf Hakimi for Summer Transfer

The summer transfer window could involve Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi. The Moroccan player is attracting the interest of several European clubs, including Bayern Munich.
According to information from Fichajes, the right-back of PSG is on the radar of the Bundesliga giant. But does the club have the financial means to cope with the transfer charges of a player like Achraf Hakimi? At 23 years old, the Atlas Lion now weighs much more than the cost of his transfer to PSG. He is currently the most expensive player in Ligue 1 with a market value estimated at 108.2 million euros, according to the CIES Football Observatory.
Bayern’s interest in the right-back is not new. It was noted well before his transfer to Inter Milan. But the German club did not have convincing arguments. The Munich club had tried its luck again, but the native of Madrid chose PSG, who will not want to part with him given his performances.
Hakimi joined PSG last summer and quickly integrated, becoming a major asset for the Parisian club. He even recently admitted to feeling "very comfortable" in Paris. "The truth is that I feel at home. The people welcomed me very well, the club, the supporters. Paris bet on me and made a big effort. The coach too, we had quite a few conversations and he trusted me. The players also welcomed me very well and tell me to always be calm and enjoy myself. That’s why I feel so good with them and I give my best," he said. Bayern Munich will have to write a big check if it wants to recruit him next summer.
