A runner unlike the others at the National School Cross Country Championship. On Monday, sports photographer Simo Hamdi posted a photo showing a boy running on the Tamesna racetrack, near Rabat, with his little feet wrapped in duct tape. Quickly, the web is buzzing. In a short time, the post becomes viral. Many Internet users have asked for the coordinates of the young athlete’s family to provide financial support.
A few hours after the first publication of the photo, Moroccan activist Errami Ebdelali posted a series of photos of the boy with his smiling mother. In one of the shots, we see the young athlete posing joyfully with a new pair of fashionable shoes. They thanked the donors for the gesture. "Thank God, the smile has returned to the face of the future Moroccan hero," the caption reads.
