Barcelona’s Rising Star Lamine Yamal Set to Inherit Messi’s Iconic No. 10 Jersey on 18th Birthday

The new Barça jersey is already on sale on its website. Its price varies between 135 and 165 euros. That of Lamal Yamal, who does not yet wear a number, is the most in demand by the supporters. On the jersey of the Moroccan-born prodigy unveiled on the club’s official website, we see the number 1 followed by a question mark.

According to El Debate, there is no doubt that the 17-year-old player will wear the number 10 this season. But Yamal would have asked Barça to wait until July 13, the date of his majority, to announce that he will inherit Messi’s "10", worn until now by Ansu Fati, on loan to Monaco.
