Barcelona Prodigy Lamine Yamal Inspires Viral TikTok Hit by Dutch Rapper Ashafar

The Dutch rapper Ashafar, 25, has dedicated a song to his friend Lamine Yamal, the jewel of Barça. The two young men, of Moroccan origin, met on social media and later developed a true friendship.
Lamine Yamal is a fan of the Dutch rapper. "He (Lamine Yamal) often shared my songs in his Instagram stories," Ashafar tells the NOS newspaper. Whose real name is Zakaria Abouazzaoui, the Dutch rapper has thus befriended the 17-year-old Spanish striker. Ashafar has already been to Barcelona three times. "We are quite close to each other. If it were up to me, I would go there even more often."
To celebrate his new friend, Ashafar decided to compose a song for him. "I had made several proposals and sent them to him. He was very happy," said the performer of Nooit thuis, Scooter or Amsterdam. The young rapper finally released the single. And who better than Yamal to promote it? In a video he posted on TikTok, we see him with the young player sketching dance steps to the song in a parking lot. The video has already recorded nearly 5 million views.
In the single, Ashafar highlights Yamal’s celebrity. "I’m the star of my club, even your sister recognizes me," he sings. This is not the first time a rapper has dedicated a song to a football star. The rapper from Eindhoven, Lirical, had released the single "Mbappé" to celebrate the French striker of Real Madrid. The track became a hit after Netflix used it in a documentary series.
