Real Madrid Star Brahim Diaz Touted as Solution for Barcelona’s Midfield Woes

A former Spanish international recommends the Spanish-Moroccan striker Brahim Diaz of Real Madrid to FC Barcelona to strengthen its struggling midfield.
"I would sign him tomorrow, honestly spending the necessary money. I think he’s a wonderful player," Nolito said in a recent interview with AS. He will add: "The thing is, of course, he’s already in Madrid. But if I were Joan Laporta, I would approach him with a briefcase of money to attract him." According to him, the president of the Catalan club would gain by recruiting the star of Real Madrid, as he could help strengthen the midfield at Barça, which is currently struggling due to the injuries of Pedri Gonzalez and Frenkie de Jong. In the past, the Catalans had expressed interest in Brahim when he was still a child, but the young player had finally joined the Manchester City squad.
The 24-year-old player is not an undisputed starter under the orders of Carlo Ancelotti due to the surprising form of Jude Bellingham. However, a transfer to Barcelona is not, for the moment, conceivable. Brahim is performing well and Real Madrid is not about to let its star leave, as it does not practice cross-transfers. In addition, the former Manchester City winger plays in the same position as Raphinha and Lamine Yamal. Brahim has scored five goals and provided three assists in 25 appearances, including 13 starts, in La Liga alone. He has also scored two goals and provided one assist for the Galacticos in the UEFA Champions League.
