The footballer has been wearing the Belgian jersey since 2021, crossing all the categories from U16 to U21 last September. FIFA still has to administratively record this change of sports nationality. If he has not been called up by the Moroccan selections during this international window, his refusal to join Gill Swerts’ group is a direct message addressed to the Moroccan authorities.
