In Azrou, motorists and merchants extorted

The owners of shops and cafes in Azrou have sent a letter to the governor of Ifrane to denounce the actions of a group of young people in yellow vests. The latter, according to the letter, "extort money from motorists in the street."
The unidentified group targets motorists who stop to make purchases in the shops. They demand money on the pretext of working for a private company that would have rented the public space of the municipality of Azrou, reports the site Al3omk.
Merchants and cafe owners often find themselves involved in altercations with these individuals when they try to question their identity. The letter describes insults and degrading remarks made by the "yellow vests."
Exasperated by this situation, the owners of businesses and cafes have asked the governor of Ifrane and the local authorities of Azrou to put an end to these actions that disrupt public order. A copy of the letter was also sent to the Pacha, the Commander and the President of the municipality of Azrou.
