Astronomer Predicts May 7 Start for Ramadan 2019 in Morocco

As every year, astronomers strive to make public, before the time, the date of Ramadan and that of Eid Al-Fitr, based on calculations. This year, El Hassan Talbi claims that it will be respectively May 7 and June 5. That is, a Ramadan of 29 days.
While everyone knows that Ramadan will begin in Morocco in May, El Hassan Talbi, a famous astronomer, is now providing more details. He claims to have never been wrong. Calculations made, it will be, according to the scientist, on May 7, 2019 that the holy month will begin.
As for the Eid Al Fitr, that is to say the feast of the end of fasting, it will take place on June 5, 2019. So only 29 days and not 30.
It should be recalled that Morocco officially confirms the start and end dates of Ramadan based on visual observations. The crescent must be observable by persons authorized by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.
No room for astronomical calculations or anything else. But will Talbi be right this year as well?
