Two Arrested for Alleged Witchcraft Rituals in Moroccan Cemetery

A rather strange fact in Tan-Tan, in southern Morocco. Two men were arrested in flagrante delicto in a cemetery in the city while burying talismans and other ritual objects. They are accused of having practiced witchcraft rites.
The two alleged sorcerers, arrested last Monday, are 28 and 30 years old. Accused of having desecrated the city’s cemetery, they were immediately taken into custody. At first, the two men were surprised and surrounded by residents who alerted the police, who came to verify the facts with evidence, reports Le360.
An investigation led to the arrest of one of the two individuals and an accomplice. These two other people are also suspected of being involved in cases involving witchcraft and charlatanism.
The four people were placed in custody under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office and will be brought before the King’s Prosecutor at the court of first instance in Tan-Tan, once the police investigation is completed.
This case is sure to reveal other revelations, as the suspects seem to be habitual offenders of the acts they are accused of. The victims could join the civil party and claim compensation, the same source suggests.
