Arab World Institute Launches First International Arabic Language Proficiency Certificate

The Arabic language needed a proficiency certificate, like English and other languages recognized worldwide. This is what the Arab World Institute (IMA) is now proposing.
Thus, the institute has just set up the first certification of the Arabic language, through the International Certificate of Proficiency in the Arabic Language (CIMA), allowing the evaluation of the level for academic, professional, or personal purposes.
Accessible to those over 15 years of age, this test will assess the levels of language proficiency, defined according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Evaluation tests of comprehension and oral and written expression, developed in the form of examination sessions, will take place in 14 accredited centers throughout Europe and the Arab countries, including Morocco.
"Rich in its history, strong in its diversity and the dynamism of those who practice it", the Arabic language remains strategic for the international community, the IMA believes.
