New App Offers Support for Moroccan Women Facing Digital Violence

"Stop Digital Violence" is the new platform dedicated to women victims of cyber-violence. The project was launched by the Tahadi Association for Equality and Citizenship, with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Morocco.
In a press release, ATEC indicates that "The project includes a listening and psychological and legal support structure, the first of its kind at the national level, which will be entirely dedicated to victims of digital violence."
Dedicated exclusively to women victims of digital violence, the innovative and easily downloadable application allows them to interact simply with the association, the director points out. The complaints are then handled directly by ATEC or referred to the competent authorities. The follow-up of the request is done in coordination with the complainant.
Note that more than 1.5 million women in Morocco are victims of "cyber-violence", according to figures from the High Commission for Planning.
