Alleged Killer of Moroccan Child Adnane Begins Hunger Strike in Tangier Prison

After 3 months of detention in the local prison of Tangier, the alleged murderer of little Adnane has decided, in recent days, to go on a hunger strike.
The public prosecutor’s office has ordered the opening of an investigation to determine the reasons that led the detainee to protest, according to sources relayed by Akhbarona, noting that his 3 cellmates, also incarcerated, have chosen not to embark on this type of protest.
Meanwhile, one of the most publicized trials, initially scheduled for December 29 at the Tangier Court of Appeal, has been postponed again to January 12. The alleged murderer will have to appear before the Attorney General.
Aged 24, he is being prosecuted, among other offenses, for murder and sexual violence against an 11-year-old child. The defendant will be defended by a court-appointed lawyer, as all others have refused to defend him.
