Algerian TikToker Sentenced for Inciting Illegal Migration to Europe

After her arrest and detention, the Algerian woman known on Tiktok who was posing as a Moroccan was sentenced by the court of first instance in Tetouan.
The Algerian YouTuber was sentenced to eight months in prison, with a fine of 500 dirhams, for "incitement to illegal immigration" and "providing false statements to the media". Considered the leader of the calls launched on social networks to encourage 3,000 individuals, mostly Moroccans, as well as other countries from North Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, to try to return to Europe on Sunday, September 15, she had been arrested along with two young Moroccan women, one of whom was pregnant, by the royal gendarmerie services in the Belyounech region.
The case was then brought before the Moroccan justice system, and this woman claiming to be Moroccan was placed in detention. Shortly after, an Algerian footballer residing in Morocco was also arrested as he wanted to go illegally to Spain to "play" in a famous club. Like his compatriot, he was also inciting others to do the same in the many videos he posted on social media. He was also placed in detention. These two Algerians are among the 152 people arrested for inciting illegal emigration from accounts on various social networks to Ceuta.
Before them, the security forces had arrested on Thursday, September 12 in Fnideq and repatriated 39 individuals of Algerian and Tunisian nationalities, all wishing to go illegally to Ceuta. The Algerian clandestines were sent back to Tunisia due to the breakdown of diplomatic relations between Morocco and Algeria.
