Algerian General Allegedly Seeks Moroccan Sorcerer's Aid to Avoid Dismissal

An Algerian general is said to have called on the services of a Moroccan sorcerer to protect himself from a possible dismissal.

The Maghreb-Intelligence media has, without citing its sources, reported information that can only be described as extravagant and fanciful. Thus, this media writes: "As incredible as it may seem, the family of General Ghali Belkecir, the commander of the Algerian Gendarmerie, called for help from Cheikh Henni, a Moroccan ’Taleb’ who lives in Sidi M’hamed Benali, a locality located 5 kilometers west of Mazouna in Algeria." The latter would be one of the Moroccan "fqihs" whose Algerian officials "are fond of" for their "occult gifts" to thwart the maneuvers of their enemies, claims the same source.

The sorcerer would thus have been at the general’s residence for a week, in order to protect the general against dismissal and prosecution that could affect him, using means whose interest or usefulness cannot be understood.

Maghreb Intelligence specifies in this sense: "the first gendarme of the country preferred to resort to ’witchcraft’ to try to save his skin in these troubled times that have seen the most powerful in the whole country, like the brother of Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Saïd, land in the military prison of Blida".
