Algerian Drowning Victim Swiftly Repatriated After Moroccan Support

The body of a 26-year-old Algerian who died by drowning in the high seas between the Strait and Ceuta has been repatriated to Algeria in less than a week.
This speed of execution has brought relief, contrasting with the initial fears of body retention, as has been the case for the remains of Moroccans who died in Algeria.
The family of the deceased has expressed its gratitude to the Moroccans for their outpouring of solidarity. According to them, this mobilization contributed to the acceleration of the repatriation process.
The case has taken on a public dimension, fueling discussions on social networks. Moroccan and Algerian internet users have compared the approach of the two countries in the management of these human tragedies, highlighting the humanitarian nature of the Moroccan approach compared to the perceived political dimension on the Algerian side.
This context has revived calls for the normalization of relations between the two countries. Many calls from King Mohammed VI have remained unanswered.
