Akon Spotted in Marrakech: R&B Star’s Morocco Visit Sparks Music Video Rumors

Is Akon in Marrakech to prepare a clip? This is the question that several local media are asking. The American R’n’b singer of Senegalese origin has shared with his fans, on Instagram, recent photos of him where he is seen in the tourist capital of the Kingdom.

The media "La Tribune de Marrakech" writes: "The author of the global hits "Lonely" or "Smack that" is currently staying in the ochre city. The star of Senegalese origin, 5 times nominated for the "Grammy awards", shared these moments of relaxation with the 6 million subscribers of his Instagram account".

The same source specifies that last weekend, Akon, 46, was at the "Namaskar" Palace for a private evening.

It should be noted that this is not the first time that Akon has come to Morocco or to Marrakech. He has already been part of "Mawazine", in 2015. And, he shot a clip in Marrakech, still in 2015.
